Hardware Engineer H/F

We are working to increase vehicle safety by developing seatbelts, airbags, and steering wheels, and you can be part of our team as Hardware Engineer.If you think you'll like to manage the following responsibilities at higher standards:To propose and share the choice of technical solutions with the Innovation team and the Design Concept Leader:Analyse the state of the art of the technology of the concept to be developed.Imagine innovative solutions for automotive and mobility applications.Patent application.To propose and share the choice of technical solutions with the HW team and the Design Leader:Consider Lessons Learned, Customer - System - Product specifications, Design for Manufacturing, Quality, Cost, Time, Safety, and Software constraints.Participate in Design FMEA, Component FMEA, Reliability studies, and Fault Tree Analysis.Participate in component selections and mock-up definition:Technology wash, road map with suppliers.Write Purchase Technical Specification (PTS) for components finding.Verify the design:By writing HW test specifications and/or product verification plan.By performing HW and product validation tests (functional, electrical, climatic, participation in EMC tests).Participate in design reviews of products developed by other local or regional teams.And if you have/are:Curious and open-minded.Autonomous and rigorous.Ability to drive relationships with suppliers and internal customers.Clear communication (French & English).Taking the initiative and contacting the right people when needed.Self-sufficient to perform the essential functions of this job.Well-motivated to perform current tasks.Ability and ease to work in a team, locally and remotely.Effectiveness in dealing with problems.Ability to meet deadlines.Good proficiency of MCU, sensors, power supply, LIN & CAN communication, analog and digital electronics.Leadership and autonomy, with local and global teams.Skillful in development methods (V-Cycle, Iterative cycle, HW SPICE, ...).Then we will be more than glad to chat with you about your experience and your career goals.Our international work environment can offer you challenging and rewarding opportunities.
