Junior Power Systems Software Engineer

As part of a high-level R&D team, you will leverage your expertise in software engineering. Your main responsibilities will include:Participate in the design of software solutions in the energy sectorDevelop operational calculation modules based on applied mathematicsMaintain tools in operational conditions and provide third-level customer support.Our computation modules are developed in Java, Python, and C++.You hold an engineering school degree, a master’s or a Ph.D. in software engineering, power systems, or applied mathematics. You are the ideal candidate if:You have at least one software engineering experience in Python or JavaYou have an interest in mathematical and quantitative approaches and are comfortable with fundamental mathematical techniquesYou are rigorous and have a strong team spiritYou have at least a B2 level in EnglishYou have at least a B2 level in FrenchAny knowledge, experience, and interest in the energy sector, particularly power systems, will be valued.Working conditions:Permanent contract, managerial status with a 4-month probationary period.Up to 2 days of remote work per week possible.Flexible working hours.Offices located in the city center of each city where we are located.Recruitment process:An initial technical interview via video conference with two recruiters (45 minutes x 2).A second interview via video conference with two other recruiters, as well as a brief 15-minute discussion with the CEO of Artelys (45 minutes x 2 + 15 minutes).If your interviews are successful, we will invite you to visit our premises to make you an offer in person and introduce you to the work environment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
