This position is based in Paris.You will contribute to the build-up of Allianz Global Investors European Private Credit platform.You will join a team of eighteen Investment Professionals, based in Paris and Munich, with a growing asset base of E8.4bn.You will deliver seamless deal execution, with the ability to grow over time your profile and network.What you will doConduct in-depth due diligence and benchmarking to provide risk/return analysis of investment opportunityPrepare investment committee/credit memos including financial modellingReview of transaction documentsAbility to work with external partiesMonitor existing investmentsCapacity to train and grow more junior staffContribute to our origination effort by building over a time a personal network.What you bring3+ years of experience in the leveraged finance/private debt/debt advisory spaceIn-depth understanding of credit risk (-analysis), financial modelling and structuring of transactionsExperience with transactions from early stage ‘pitching’ phase through to financial close and fundingSolid academic track recordFluency in English and FrenchFluency in a third European language (Dutch or German would be a plus)Proficiency in MicrosoftFlawless work ethicEagerness to join a developing platform with an entrepreneurial spirit - solutions oriented personAnalytical mind with the ability to challenge views, statements, processesCapacity to ensure seamless analysis and execution of investmentsPotential and willingness to contribute to our origination effort.What we offer“New Normal”, it’s not news to us: As a global company, we’ve known the hybrid model before it was ‘in’.
