We deliver the best products and features in our space, enabling millions of jobs worldwide and connecting the global workforce with the best companies and opportunities.Overview:The Senior Program Manager, M&A is responsible for the oversight and management of the full cycle global M&A implementations across all Deel business units, from due diligence through to integration and post closing harmonization. The Senior Program Manager works directly with key HR stakeholders and business leaders across both Deel and M&A targets, and serves as the primary point of contact for the Deel People team. The role also collaborates closely with Corporate Development, Finance, Legal, Tax, Accounting, IT and other internal stakeholders and cross functional teams to understand the vision for the target company post closing, timelines and tasks in diligence, at signature and post closing. The role is responsible for managing the HR specific timeline and driving stakeholders to deliver and execute tasks timely and completely.What You'll DoLead the end-to-end M&A HR integration process both strategically and tactically, as the primary point of contact for all HR integration workstreams.Partner with our People Analytics team on all M&A data needs, projects and management; inclusive of data migration elements.Partner with Corporate Development, Compensation, HRBPs and cross-functional M&A Leads in assisting with organizational design and mapping & leveling activities.Provide strategic partnership across internal stakeholder teams and business leaders, often navigating conflict and being responsible to drive alignment when missing.Distill, summarize and present data findings to senior leadership with a knack for simplifying complex ideas quickly and clearly.Diagnose operational breakdowns at the root cause and work with key stakeholders to find short and long term solutions that are both holistic and optimal.Proactively identify process inefficiencies and collaborate cross-functionally to drive improvements and support evolving the M&A playbook and tools.Collaborate with key HR stakeholders and business leaders to provide strategic consultation and support on HR issues and initiatives related to M&A.Drive HR and business stakeholder alignment to, and adoption of, Global HR M&A standardized processes, principles and methodologies.Create an HR integration plan for each deal by organizing pre-integration due diligence, closing and Day 1 activities, and executing the post-close integration plan.Organize and engage HR/3rd party resources required to support pre-integration due diligence.Support the development of HR pre-integration due diligence summary of findings and impacts and communicate to HR and business leaders and deal team.Build and cultivate strong relationships with integration stakeholders including Human Resources, IT, Finance, Accounting, Tax, Legal, Procurement and Corporate Development.Proactively develop and maintain project artifacts including project plan, project estimates, RACIs, resource plans, status reports, leveraging standardized HR M&A tools.Lead HR integration workstream meetings, collaborate with stakeholders on driving key decisions, and understand/manage HR handoffs and key dependencies.Ensure the project remains on schedule and within budget; monitor key deliverables and progress through continuous communication with project team members and stakeholders.With a high degree of independence, proactively identify risks; leverage relationships with key stakeholders and team members to mitigate.Support the development of a Global M&A HR Playbook.Encourage and support team collaboration and communication; embrace inclusivity in leading teams and encouraging diverse opinions.Drive successful execution against deal milestones by tracking milestones, making key recommendations to stakeholders, and holding cross functional teams accountable for execution of deliverables.Conduct Lessons Learned including collect and share results to project team member, identifies how to sustain strengths and improve weaknesses on future projects.What You'll NeedMinimum 10+ years of relevant experience leading and project managing full cycle global M&A or as people consultant, HR leader, Strategic HR Business Partner or other relevant HR role in a high growth international organization.What You BringStrong interpersonal communication skills both written and verbal.Self-directed with a high level of initiative; ability to set priorities, meet challenging deadlines and achieve quick resolution of issues.Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities is essential.Strong internal stakeholder management; ability to communicate and interact with various levels of leadership.Ability to enforce process standards while accommodating unique features of each M&A deal.Excellent collaborative, interpersonal and time management skills.Excellent communication skills including verbal, written and presentation skills.Curious with an open and multicultural mindset.Proactive and positive “Can Do” attitude.Must have previous HR experience, as well as managing M&As within the global HR function.Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.Excellent influencing skills at all levels in the organization.Deep business acumen to understand, anticipate, and solve business needs that arise in M&A.Understanding of various global employment laws and their impact on HR matters.Demonstrated ability to partner within and outside of HR successfully.Unquestioned integrity with assertiveness, presence, and confidence.High EQ, personal maturity, cultural awareness and compassion.Ability to travel internationally for offsites and events.We welcome people from all backgrounds who seek the opportunity to help build the future of work.
