Power Market Development Engineer - Clamart or LyonPosition: Power Market Development Engineer - Clamart or LyonJob Description:We are looking for a Market Development Engineer - Power who will join our team in France (Clamart or Lyon) and be responsible for either the North part or South part of France and work with our clients and vendors on delivering the best level of engineering services in this region by building strong business relations with our clients based on technical expertise in the power industry sector.WHAT WILL YOU DO:The role is a mix of engineering 40% and sales abilities 60%Knowledge of AC/DC, DC/DC, and inverter power supplies and complete value-add solutions from our portfolio of world-class power supply manufacturer partners and from our own engineering resourceGrow the region's power supply bookings, billings, profit, and design wins in line with the monthly, quarterly, and annual targetsWork collaboratively with our field-based FAE sales teams and account managers to maximize the number of opportunities entering the power sales funnel, increasing the possible number of opportunities to closeUncover and extract our existing customer base power needs and convert them into bookings and also identify new customers in our focus markets and applications, in line with our strategyWHO YOU ARE:At least 5 years of experience in a role combining engineering and sales activities in the power industry e.g. Market Development Engineer, Sales Engineer, or Field Application EngineerAbility to create strong relations with clients and manage their expectationsThe expectation is to be with customers 3-4 days per weekStrong presentation and communications skills are required to be successful in this roleUniversity degree in a technical field, preferred in electronic engineeringEnglish at least on B2 level is required to be successful in this roleKnowledge of the French language is necessaryDriving licenseWHAT WE OFFER:Stable employment based on a permanent contract with a base salary and bonus schemePossibility to work remotely from home if preferred or directly from one of our officesChance to work with a wide spectrum of companies and technologies that drive innovationReal chances to grow inside a global, multicultural environmentComprehensive training about the newest technologies in the electronic industryOUR STORY:As Arrow Global Components (AGC), a part of Arrow Electronics, we are a leader in distribution and value-added services related to electronic components.
