Job InformationHiltonPosition: Chief Engineer/Director of Engineering/Maintenance Manager/Facilities Manager/Engineering ForemanLocation: Tahiti, FranceResponsibilities:- Supervise and control preventive and corrective maintenance activities for 2 hotels in the group.- Ensure the proper functioning of the department and all technical equipment and installations according to company standards.- Maintain safety for people and property during maintenance of various installations and equipment.- Plan work after diagnosing needs (corrective maintenance action plans).- Develop preventive and improvement maintenance for installations and equipment.- Optimize maintenance and repair costs within operational, hygiene, and safety constraints.- Recruit, train, and supervise maintenance staff to correctly apply internal procedures.- Plan, organize, and manage work procedures to achieve high productivity levels daily.- Maintain good communication with staff and other departments.- Order necessary materials and ensure proper supply for quick customer service.- Develop and manage maintenance budgets, annual plans, and necessary renovations.- Manage relationships with partner companies and ensure perfect execution of their services.- Master heating, ventilation, air conditioning systems, plumbing, water distribution systems, electrical supply, motors, pumps, water treatment, fire prevention systems, refrigeration systems, storage areas, and technical software.Education & Experience:- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position in luxury hotel and restaurant management.- Hold a higher technical degree, at least BAC 2.- Strong technical knowledge (electrical, plumbing, telephony, air conditioning).- Proficient in Microsoft Office and ideally speak English.- Recognized for decision-making abilities and priority management.- Capable of working independently and managing stress.- Frequent travel required.Job: Engineering, Maintenance and FacilitiesRequisition ID: HOT09JPMEOE/AA/Disabled/Veterans #J-18808-Ljbffr
