Responsibilities
- Take the lead in researching, designing, and developing state-of-the-art NLP artifacts, including models, algorithms, and tools, that can be applied to our business problems
- Define and communicate a comprehensive long-term internal strategy for NLP technology, outlining the roadmap for NLP adoption, integration, and evolution within the organization
- Support and guide project teams in designing NLP applications by sharing best practices, methodologies, and ensuring adherence to quality and ethical standards
- Conduct thorough technical reviews of NLP projects within the organization to maintain the highest quality standards, provide critical feedback, and drive continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in utilizing NLP libraries and frameworks such as SpaCy, Hugging Face Transformers, BERT, GPT, knowledge graphs semantic search and others to build and deploy NLP solutions effectively
- In-depth comprehension and adept solution architecture skills for predictive and analytical modelling techniques, encompassing a strong understanding of NLP theories, principles, and best practices
- Good understanding of at least one major cloud platform, such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Microsoft Azure, and the ability to leverage cloud resources for scalable and efficient NLP and deep learning applications
- Proficient hands-on expertise in AI programming languages and framework tools, including but not limited to Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Keras, enabling the development of robust and high-performance NLP models
- Ability to design, implement, and optimize distributed and parallelized algorithms for NLP and deep learning tasks, ensuring efficient processing of large-scale data and model training
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Fluent in English and French
