Validation Project Manager – Automotive Radar

In Toulouse, about 70 engineers are working on automotive radar domain for autonomous driving. In the RADAR Validation group, we are now looking for a Senior Project Manager to support the development of NXP’s next chip generation.Your responsibilitiesYou'll be in charge and will have authority to structure and lead RADAR Front-End validation activities and ensure deliverables are produced within the specified constraints of quality, time and cost. It consists in:Providing on-site leadership for validation engineering teams by building and motivating team members to meet project goals, adhere to their responsibilities and project milestones.Plan and lead the execution throughout the entire project life cycle from initial phase toward product releaseTrack project progress and report to project community, management and stakeholders or customers on progress and KPI’sWork creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence in a global, multi-site organization.Manage risks and change requestsYour profileMaster’s/Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Electronic engineering8+ years of experience in automotive project/program managementStrong leadership, diplomatic and motivational skillsFluent in English language both oral and written to work in an international environment with colleagues around the worldExcellent communication skills, both verbal and in writing to present to executive sponsorsKnowledge in automotive project development flow and validationOpen to new ideas and have a creative attitude.Taking initiative to spot and implement improvementIntermediate level of proficiency with MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePointExperience on Critical Chain / Agile methodology is a plus.
