Software Engineer - Westhausen Key Responsibilities: Implementation of software for embedded screwdriving systems - mainly written in C Evaluation and creation of software specifications based on use cases, marketing requirements and customer requirements Deriving software designs from requirements Collaborating with software testers, system testers, technical product specialists and customers on troubleshooting, debugging and optimizations Documenting work results in technical documentation and user manuals Critical Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or similar Solid experience in C or C++ programming Knowledge of embedded systems, real-time operating systems and Linux Basic understanding of networking protocols (like TCP-IP, WiFi) Understanding of embedded hardware preferred Strong communication and teamwork skills Good German and English skills What we offer: Collective agreement of the metal and electronical industry 30 days vacation Special payments (e.g. vacation bonus, Christmas bonus, payments according to collective agreement) Many employee benefits / employee offers (corporate benefits) Bike-Leasing International environment Opportunities for further training and development Home Office possibility At Apex Tool Group (www.apextoolgroup.com), we’re passionate about innovation.
