The Accounts Payable Specialist
Role and Responsibilities
Ensure invoices are processed properly and in a timely fashion.
Sort, code, and match invoices according to internal processes.
Set invoices up for payment for new vendors.
Electronically upload invoices into the system.
Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments.
Reconcile accounts payable transactions.
Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date.
Maintain vendor files and records.
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
Process monthly expense reports,
Prepare month-end accounts payable reconciliation.
Provide supporting documentation for audits.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Essential Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable or a related field.
Proficiency in accounting software (Netsuite) and Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel).
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Customer satisfaction oriented
Ability to adapt in a multicultural environment
Fluent in verbal and written English/French
