The role
Job title: Commercial Excellence Senior Consultant

Purpose
As a member of the Commercial Excellence practices, the Commercial Excellence Senior Consultant contributes to the Company's effort to implement commercial transformation programs to boost customers' profitable organic growth
The Commercial Excellence Senior Consultant aims to accelerate his / her learning curve to become a high performer in Sales, Pricing and Marketing business levers combined with enhanced change management, coaching and consultative skills
As such, he / she will support, under the leadership of the Commercial Excellence Manager, the development of processes, tools and capability programs as well as the effective delivery and embedding of Commercial transformation programs at Silamir GROW's customers.
Scope
Silamir GROW Commercial transformation program is set up around 3 core capabilities: Sales Excellence, Pricing Excellence and Marketing Excellence
Customer centricity being the cornerstone of Silamir GROW's mindset, the Commercial transformation teams have as main driver the objective to serve customers with customized offerings, high quality and business impact
Understanding customers needs and key business insights
Performs data collection, cleansing, validation and analysis and creates comprehensive insights based on customers' unique business scope (BUs and Market segments, customer/product level characteristics, etc.).
Accountabilities
Delivery
Leads the project stream and drives the adaptation of Sales, Marketing and Pricing tools and processes
Gathers best practices knowledge and develop consistent high quality playbook
Supervise preparation of interactive workshops using best practices in Customer experience, design thinking and customer journey and delivering clear and tangible outcomes
Leads specific working sessions in design and implementation of activities with customers commercial teams
Execution & Change Management, Monitoring & Continuous Improvement
Identifies and develops Sales, Marketing and Pricing improvements and capabilities based on qualitative and quantitative insights as part from customers assessment
In cooperation with Sales, Marketing and Pricing colleagues, supports and monitors margin improvement implementation in line with strategy and actions (e.g. increasing core assortment, implementing price increase, optimizing product mix, optimizing customer mix, reducing complexity)
Identifies, reports, discusses client key challenges and develops action plans with the Commercial Excellence Manager
Shares experiences and best practices in and between Sales, Marketing, Pricing, Customer Service, Technical service and Commercial Excellence teams
Coach clients commercial teams on the key cross-functional processes
Supports customer's wide capability build up on various sales competencies e.g. sales performance management and coaching, consultative selling, account planning, Key Account Management, Negotiation skills
Supports customer's wide capability build up on various marketing competencies e.g. segment planning, brand and product portfolio mgmt. (including pricing), etc.
Experience & Skills
At least 4+ years of experience in a commercial, audit or consulting environment, ideally in commercial excellence, business transformation, consulting or business management
Ideally experienced in B2B sales, marketing and pricing in a best practice environment
Experience into Customer Experience (Cx), insights, design thinking and customer journey
Analytical with good financial acumen
Proven experience in project management is appreciated
Experience with working in multi-disciplinary programs and teams, with a results oriented mindset
Excellent skills in PowerPoint or Google slide presentation and data analytics
