For more than 50 years, Ansys software has enabled innovators across industries to push boundaries by using the predictive power of simulation.Summary / Role PurposeJoin the Ansys Customer Excellence team to partner with our customers to engineer what's ahead, solve their real-world engineering problems, deploy Ansys software in their design workflows, and grow Ansys’ business. You will provide technical pre-sales support, perform professional services, and help guide Ansys product roadmap based on customer requirements.Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesLead in coordinating and executing all technical activities throughout the sales opportunity lifecycle.Help guide complex sales engagements to successful outcomes.Interact with customers to understand their key business initiatives and engineering design workflows.Lead project teams to create differentiating simulation solutions.Collaborate with the Ansys product development teams to guide Ansys product roadmap.Participate in corporate initiatives to further enhance Ansys technology.Support Ansys field and digital marketing, author conference presentations.Contribute to consulting services and conduct training classes.Minimum Education/Certification Requirements and ExperienceRequired education and degree type: BS or MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering or related field.Required minimum years of professional experience: BS+8, MS+6, or PhD+3.Demonstrated use of Ansys Motor-CAD and/or Ansys Maxwell.Subject Matter Expert in electrical machines and/or electric powertrain systems.Experience with building solutions using simulation technology.Strong leadership and mentoring skills.Logical problem-solving and strong communication skills.Ability to travel up to 25% of time.Preferred Qualifications and SkillsPreferred education and years of professional experience: BS+12, MS+10, or PhD+7.4 years of experience in application engineering or customer support roles.Ability to interact effectively with senior business managers.Demonstrated experience working in a wider engineering team.Fluent in German.Knowledge of Python, Linux operating system.INCLUSION IS AT OUR COREWe believe diverse thinking leads to better outcomes.
