With its subsidiary CEVA Logistics, a world leader in logistics, and its air freight division CMA CGM AIR CARGO, the CMA CGM Group is continually innovating to offer its customers a complete and increasingly efficient range of new shipping, land, air and logistics solutions.Committed to the energy transition in shipping, and a pioneer in the use of alternative fuels, the CMA CGM Group has set a target to become Net Zero Carbon by 2050.Through the CMA CGM Foundation, the Group acts in humanitarian crises that require an emergency response by mobilizing the Group’s shipping and logistics expertise to bring humanitarian supplies around the world.Present in 160 countries through its network of more than 400 offices and 750 warehouses, the Group employs more than 155,000 people worldwide, including 4,000 in Marseilles where its head office is located.THE ROLEWithin the Shipping branch, you will hold the position of Group Collection Manager.Based at the headquarters in Marseille, you will functionally oversee the global Collection activities and hierarchically report to the Group Head of Credit Management.REPONSIBILITIESYour main responsibilities will include :Lead the Collection efforts alongside all operational teams, in a highly decentralized context, ensuring that payments from customers are received as quickly as possibleEscalate problematic situations to the Commercial teams at the Headquarters on a weekly basis (at minimum)Identify and anticipate potential risks of financial losses due to customer non-payment, and ensure corrective actions are implementedImprove and maintain the quality and relevance of Group collection strategies and processes, particularly through the CMA CGM Group Collection toolDevelop and maintain close collaboration with various departments involved in the Quote-To-Cash and Order-To-Cash processes outside of the department but impacting Collection (billing, customer dispute management, matching and allocating received funds, etc.). This collaboration aims to improve these processes for faster collectionPROFILE & QUALIFICATIONSMinimum 10 years of experience in customer AR Collection activities. Knowledge of the Shipping industry is a plusAttention to detail, with the ability to master very operational aspects while being capable of summarizing and communicating on complex situationsExcellent negotiation and communication skills, with a commercial mindset and a high level of integrityAbility to manage and motivate multicultural teams dispersed worldwide, within a matrix structureProblem-solving focus, ability to manage crisis situations and make decisions under pressure #J-18808-Ljbffr
