Financial Manager - Logistics Operations

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Manager to join our Amazon Logistics Operations Finance team in Europe. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing finance-related activities, implementing standardized controllership, reporting, and planning processes for the fixed cost of Delivery Stations across all EU countries.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and mitigate basic control risks, evaluate their impact, and propose changes to improve processes.
• Deliver weekly and monthly financial close, utilizing financial systems and advanced MSExcel functions to work with large data sets.
• Collaborate with various data sources, identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, and escalating discrepancies to ensure data accuracy.
• Communicate complex finance issues clearly and effectively, adjusting your style to suit different audiences.
• Identify and implement solutions to resolve, improve, automate, standardize, or simplify finance processes.
• Make informed time management decisions, prioritizing work, resolving issues, meeting deadlines, and seeking feedback from your manager.
