We belong to the Digital Transformation Services organization of Amadeus Chief Information Officer (CIO). About the team The services provided by the Digital Workplace Services (DWS) organization are mainly focusing on collaboration, productivity, security and cloud. Within DWS, the Programs and Project Management team (PPM) provides transversal services to the DWS teams, such as: Projects and programs team: project and program management of DWS initiatives Digital Management Office (DMO) team: DWS budget governance and financials follow up, Portfolio Management, OKR governance and Change and Communications service to projects and programs Security coordination for DWS teams. We are currently looking for a team manager for the Projects and programs team. This team delivers initiatives that maximize Amadeus employees’ productivity and that support Amadeus employees to reach their business objectives. Programs and projects team’s deliveries follow standard project management methods and also include as an integral part the Change Management and Communication practices tailored for each project.  Purpose As a  Manager, Programs and Projects  – Digital Workplace Services (DWS), you will lead and support a team of dedicated professional managing complex programs and projects in the scope of the DWS organization. Your role will involve team management, including objectives setting, supporting team members’ career growth, team’s capacity management, etc. You may sometime also be requested to manage an initiative for the organization yourself. You will also work in close contact with other DWS teams, to respond to their needs for our services (review priorities, capacity, plan and follow on execution). Main responsibilities Lead the strategic planning and execution of the various projects and programs delivered by the team ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectivesDrive a team of experienced project and program managers in order to reach the DWS objectives Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Security, Network, Cloud, Collaboration, Finance teamsDefine and implement best practices and standards for project and program managementCollaborate with vendors and service providers to leverage their expertise and resources in support of projects and programs deliveriesPrioritize projects according to the business value brought and the impact on the resources involvedDrive program management activities for specific initiatives, if/when requiredIn 2024, participation in, and contribution to, the Agile transformation program in our organization. As a people manager, you will Assist, guide and motivate team members in their assigned functionsDefine and follow-up objectives for individuals in line with organizational goalsManage administrative activities and procedures related to the area/departmentEnsure timely and appropriate communication to team members regarding organizational informationConduct annual appraisal interviews, provide input for salary reviewsFollow development of the team members based on continuous assessment of needsInterview and select candidates for the teamBe accountable for the performance and results of the project and program management team within the CIO office or towards other organizations/stakeholders Report on team activities/plans and risks to senior managementDevelop plans and priorities to address resource and operational challengesSuggest alternatives / improvements / new techniques in processes, flows, operational models, plans and automationsTake decisions guided by policies, procedures and business plans.
