Senior Software Engineer (m/f/d) Sales Systems

Concordia Versicherungen is currently undergoing one of its largest transformation projects. Our strategic goals require us to completely redesign our composite application landscape in the coming years and to further optimize our business model without losing sight of our core business.

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer Sales Systems with a focus on the further development of our existing and prospective new sales systems as soon as possible.

Tasks

• You are responsible for the development and technical design of our sales systems and associated databases
• You lead or accompany projects to implement our product and sales requirements for the sales systems
• Implementation of microservice architectures, REST and SOAP web services for loose coupling of the system landscape
• You drive the reduction of technical debt in our systems to ensure that the systems function effectively, scale and are resilient and performant until they are replaced
• Supporting the technical development of our new system landscape and synchronizing the legacy systems running in parallel until around 2030

Profile

• You have an apprenticeship as an IT specialist (m/f/d) or a degree in mathematics, business informatics or computer science or a comparable degree
• You have several years of experience as a software engineer/developer
• You have sound programming knowledge in the areas of HTML, Java, Angular, XML, Json, AzureDevops
• You have a technical understanding of insurance and insurance sales or are willing to actively build this up
• You have experience in project work - ideally also as an IT project manager
