Job titleContract typeWithin the Finance & Business Management Department, the work-study candidate will be fully integrated in the team and will gradually be entrusted with the following missions:Your missions:Implement second-level accounting controls.Take part in closings (controls based on sampling) to assess the quality of accounting and regulatory processes.Review the consistency of accounting standards, entries, and control support documents.Participate in reviews of accounting processes and reviews of hedging relationships.Write summary notes about the work carried out.Propose improvements to strengthen controls and the quality of accounting production as well as documentation of the processes.Ensure the implementation of control processes for new projects (outsourcing, internal transfers, automation, etc.).Exchange with the accounting teams and with the internal control functions.This position is very cross-functional with the potential for advancement in the Finance, Audit, Internal Control and Risk business lines depending on the profile of the candidate.ProfileYour profile:You are currently enrolled in post-secondary education at a business school or university equivalent specialising in Accounting/Audit.You are fluent in business English, which is a requirement for the position.You have expertise in accounting software and office tools such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.You have good banking accounting skills. You are recognised for your rigour, flexibility, interpersonal skills, and your ability to work in a team.Ideally, you have already worked at an audit firm.Preferred start date: As of September 2024 - 12 to 24-month contractJob locationLocationGeneral informationOrganisationAt 31 December 2023, the Dexia Group will have around 500 members of staff.
