The Sodexo Live! Global Sustainability Function’s main role is to ensure that Sodexo Live! businesses in the regions where we operate globally embark on a strong sustainability leadership positioning, through the design and implementation of concrete sustainability plan and actions, delivering value by our empowered teams for our clients/consumers, for the planet/society, and thereby raising the profile of the Sodexo Live! as a market maker in sustainability.

To achieve this commitment, Sodexo Live! would need to consistently plan and execute on priority actions covering Sustainable Eating [low-carbon menus], Preventing Food Waste, and other Local Impact Projects (Circular Economy, Renewable Energy, Regenerative Agriculture, Carbon footprint, Social Impact, etc.)

CONTEXT

• Sodexo live is looking for a Sustainability project Intern or Apprentice.

We’ll expect the role to drive key initiatives in the sustainability field ensuring strong coordination and communication.

MISSIONS

In this role, You will be working under the guidance of the Global Head of Sustainability of Sodexo Live! in designing, planning, coordinating, and supporting the local regional/business teams in implementing the sustainability plan and projects.

Sustainability Roadmap Planning (40%)

• Contribute to the development/evolution of sustainability roadmaps for each of the Sodexo Live! Regions/Business working in close collaboration with the Region/Business to identify the right priorities to focus on that demonstrate value creation and contributing to achieving our business strategy
• Identify trainings, toolkit materials, and tools/systems in support of the rollout of the priorities identified in the roadmap
• Define relevant baseline, and enable data collection processes with existing reporting tools on food waste, carbon data, actions deployed, etc

Sustainability Initatives Management (60%)

• Design sustainability initiatives based on insights, relevance, and priority for our business, working with the Regions/Business. Clarify the framing with the right Why?, What?, How?, When?. Include measures of deployment KPIs and impact KPIs success
• Engage and drive participation in support of the initiatives across organizational and functional levels
• For the agreed initatives coordinate the succesful implementation, monitoring, and follow-up on a timely basis

PROFILE

• Current student pursuing either a bachelor’s or master’s degree passionate about building a sustainable and equitable world
• Fluent in English and strong writing and presentation skills. Fluent in French
• Mission-driven and committed to positive change while being pragmatic. The ability to ask the right questions from a variety of perspectives
• Planning and Project Management approach. Brings structure to a program. Ability to see projects through to completion. Accountable for their work
• Excellent analytical skills. Excel modelling, PPT preparation and using data to make the case
• Ability to work collaboratively. Build constructive relationships interacting with different people within the business
