Then join us in ORR-OST-OMS where we are looking for a dynamic product owner of an agile team working on the Order Management System, this new module of Amadeus Next Gen Altea catalogue.About the roleThe Product Owner (PO) is a member of the Agile Team responsible for defining Stories and prioritizing the Team Backlog to streamline the execution of program priorities while maintaining the conceptual and technical integrity of the Features or components for the team. The PO has a significant role in maximizing the value produced by the team and ensuring Stories meet the user’s needs and comply with the Definition of Done.The PO is the member of the Agile team who serves as the customer proxy responsible for working with Product Management and other stakeholders—including other POs—to define and prioritize stories in the Team Backlog. This allows the Solution to effectively address program priorities (Features and Enablers) while maintaining technical integrity.We are looking for a Product owner with either a functional or technical background but in any case, a strong interest for vision and functional aspects in a product. As part of the activity, the product owner is expected to contribute to the product in his/her area.Key accountabilities:Joining OMS, you will be working in the group that is designing, developing, validating and maintaining core components of the OMS, with notably:Core order system to manage orders data and life cycle, storage, fulfillmentIntegration with NDC layer of the order suite via RTL backendInteractions with other suites needed throughout the handling of our orders: offer suite, revenue accounting, payment, operations suite, etc…Interactions with the PSS (a.k.a. Bimodal) to leverage all PSS capabilities for a seamless transition while offering new capabilities via OMSThe PO fulfills the following duties:Understand, identify and define customer needsTransform the high-level vision of the Product Manager into detailed requirements, working closely with a range of stakeholders for the product, including non-customer stakeholders such as finance, security, operations, support, audit, and others.Consolidate and articulate business needs into new product concepts or upgrades, and interact with Product Managers to develop user stories or features affecting the team backlogContribute to the product vision and roadmapDefine and continuously develop the product vision & the business value in line with the business owners, product managers, SAFe ART Product Management, other Product Owners & agile teamsSupport the product features definition (scoping)With the support of the Agile team, lead the definition and prioritization of the Features or user stories, based on customer needs and value, to deliver based on market and business needsConsider and prioritize amongst all Features the enabler work and sequence the architectural runway in collaboration with Architects/EngineeringCollaborate with other teams across the group to ensure coherent prioritization, product alignment, marketing and user experience across various ARTs/Products/Groups. This includes (but is not limited to) Business Owners, SAFe ART Product Management, other POs, PMKs, UX, other groups, SAFe RTEs and ArchitectsManage, prioritize and communicate the flow of workEnsure the features and user stories backlogs are reprioritized before each release and increment planning sessionConstantly align and communicate with respective agile counterparts and leadership teamDo sufficient analysis to ensure requirements are ready to be worked onDocument, analyze, trace, prioritize and agree on requirements and then control change and communicate to relevant stakeholdersIs involved with ongoing testing effortsParticipate to Agile eventsActively participate to team coordination meetings, PO synchronization meetings, draft plan reviews and management meetingActively participate to System demos and Inspect & Adapt workshops if in SAFeActively contribute to the Community of Practice of Product OwnersContribute to product promotionProvide key information & communicate value on the product, to define the Value propositionDefine a succession of strategies as a product goes through its product life cycleShare content for product documentation, sales tools and collateralCreate standard and tailor-made presentations, and demo scripts showing product valueGive presentations, demos and familiarization sessions to customers and customer-facing teams (for them to perform them). Once the product has been piloted, standard presentations should be performed by customer-facing teamsParticipate to the preparation of key events, guaranteeing the success of product launch and follow upAbout the ideal candidateEducationA degree in Computer Science, or equivalent, or other significant industry experienceWe are looking for a product owner that :Has the required technical/functional knowledge and experience in own discipline. Knowledge of the Amadeus business and how it is related to own area.Works using existing procedures or guidelines and provides inputs to support/influence area decisions.
