About The Role
Are you a visionary leader with a passion for driving growth and innovation? SPX FLOW, a global leader in innovative fluid handling and process solutions, is seeking an exceptional Product Management Director to lead our team of Global Product Managers and shape the future of our product portfolio. In this pivotal role, you'll have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our brands, develop strategic roadmaps, and drive both organic and incremental growth.
As the Product Management Director, you will be at the forefront of our strategic efforts, working closely with cross-functional teams including New Product Development (NPD), Product Engineering, Commercial, Global Manufacturing Operations (GMO), and Aftermarket/Customer Service. You’ll be responsible for steering the strategic direction, enhancing financial performance, and identifying value-creation opportunities for our business unit.
About Your Responsibilities At SPX FLOW
- Product Management Leadership: Oversee the strategic direction, enhancement, and financial performance of our product and service portfolio. Develop and implement product visions, roadmaps, and investment plans to drive innovation and maintain market leadership.
- Team Leadership: Lead and inspire an international team of Product Managers, ensuring alignment with market trends and customer needs.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with various departments to define solutions, manage product lifecycles, and ensure successful NPD execution through a formalized gate process.
- Market Insight & Strategy: Analyze market conditions and customer needs to develop actionable strategies. Manage global pricing strategies and track key performance metrics to inform business decisions.
- Marketing & Promotion: Develop and execute marketing strategies for our products and solutions. Collaborate with the Global Marketing team on campaigns and oversee the launch plans for new products.
What Do You Need
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in leading Product Management teams, preferably in pump technology or fluid management.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate teams, communicate effectively across all levels of the organization, and manage significant workloads.
- Strategic Vision: Strong understanding of product management best practices, NPD processes, and the ability to deliver sustained results in a profit & loss environment.
- Analytical Expertise: Excellent problem-solving and project management skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Commercial Acumen: Ability to present compelling business justifications for product developments and enhancements, with a focus on driving organic growth and market share capture.
